Finnplay is now looking for a Java Developer to join our passionate and fun team, in Espoo, Tallinn or Riga. The Java Developer we are looking for will have the opportunity to work on interesting projects related to web-based systems. Developing the platform’s many aspects such as gaming interfaces or payments solutions just to name a few, you will be collaborating with different subject matter experts and specialist team members. This role is made for someone who prefers working with a team that enjoys open communication opposed to coding in a more solitary manner.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining Java applications
• Writing well-designed, efficient and testable code
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing and debugging

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
• Minimum of 3 years’ solid experience of Java developing
• Developing experience of web-based systems
• Understanding of OOPs concepts and patterns
• Familiar with Spring, Hibernate, Struts
• Familiar with MySQL, Linux
• Understanding Docker
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Team player
